Founded Drone Day, an annual national day for the celebration of drone music and communities which has spread all over the world.
Incorporated Wyrd Arts Initiatives, a national nonprofit for encouraging, documenting, and connecting creative expression across Canada. Developed strategic plan and recruited 600 volunteers.
Ran a campaign and won “Best music website in Canada” from CBC 3 for weirdcanada.com
Managed a community arts space, overseeing 150+ lectures, festivals, screenings, and events.
Worked for CBC Edmonton and CBC North on communications. Curated and coordinated entertainment acts for the annual CBC fundraiser, which raised over $265,000 for The Food Bank.
Managed a social enterprise. Designed and implemented alternative education programs with youth.
Received an honours degree in Global Studies: Communities and Identities from Trent University. Served as a student elected representative and a peer mentor.
Spent my childhood reading every book I could find, climbing trees, and asking inappropriate questions. I tried to start a revolution in my elementary school.
