Feminist alternatives to Big Tech
Tech Tech Tech was a project (2020–22) exploring feminist digital tools and platforms as alternatives to Big Tech. I made the project in collaboration with Sarah Choukah, Liane Décary-Chen, and Hannah Strauss, hosted and faciliated by Ada X. The project was supported by the Canada Council for the Arts. Co-researchers explored alternatives for office tools, social media, online gatherings, portfolios, and performances & exhibitions. I led online tours of alternative spaces with my collaborators, and hosted discussions, exploring alternatives to Tech Giants. The project resulted in three zines, launched at Reine Garçon in September 2022.
